Fresh IT 2026: a decade of tracking how IT evolves

OKsystem news

April 16, 2026

The 10th anniversary edition of the Fresh IT conference is behind us – and once again, it confirmed its strong position within the Czech IT community.

Nearly 140 participants, including IT specialists, professionals, and technology enthusiasts, gathered at OKsystem to attend a full day of eight talks focused on what truly drives today’s IT landscape.

Fresh IT has always been built on sharing real-world experience. It offers an open, honest perspective on technology in context – from cybersecurity and AI to the everyday realities of running modern IT environments.

From AI to cybersecurity: a program reflecting today’s IT landscape

This year’s program delivered a diverse mix of topics.

  • Kamil Juřík shared insights gained from more than 20 years of working with SharePoint, openly discussing what he would approach differently today.
  • Tomáš Rosa introduced the world of LoRa networks and software-defined radio, including their security implications.
  • Vladimír Jirásek demonstrated why the KISS principle still plays a key role in security architecture and why simplicity often leads to greater security.
  • Nikola Faltová outlined the practical impact of the NIS 2 directive and cybersecurity legislation.
  • Petr Linke focused on how to accelerate and automate responses to cyberattacks in corporate networks.
  • The closing session once again belonged to Daniel Hejda. His talk on the (de)anonymization of the Dark Web and anonymous users proved, as always, to be one of the most engaging parts of the day, appealing to attendees across all disciplines of technical expertise.

OKsystem experts were also well represented among the speakers. Jiří Bráza explored the limitations of large language models and highlighted the importance of critical thinking in the age of AI. Martin Trnka presented a practical approach to managing Microsoft 365 using Infrastructure as Code.

A space for sharing experiences

Fresh IT is not just about presentations. Equally important are the discussions, the exchange of experience, and the opportunity to connect with people who work with technology every day.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s event, whether as a speaker or an attendee.

We look forward to seeing you again at Fresh IT 2027.
