New features and improvements in OKbase implemented in 2025
The year 2025 was not only about legislation. We also accomplished a significant amount of work in developing OKbase itself.
- For example, we completed the migration of the web client to new technologies. This enables us to further improve functionality, usability, and enhance the user experience with the system.
- In editable tables on the web, it is possible to move to the next row using the Tab key when filling in fields in the table.
- We are gradually converting “application reports” into so-called tabular reports. Such a report is displayed directly in the application as a table with data that can be further processed or used to navigate directly to the corresponding records.
- We expanded the options for delegation of permissions to include delegation to a superior. It is now possible to delegate permissions to a superior according to permissions, according to systemization, to subordinates according to permissions or according to systemization, and to a direct superior according to systemization.
- All approval processes have been unified and now use a single approval process configuration. Each specific approval process is now clearly displayed in a table, and an authorized user can monitor the approval status and, if necessary, change the approver.
- We completely redesigned the workplace accident record form so that it complies with Government Regulation No. 322/2025 Coll. of August 20 on employer obligations in the event of workplace accidents, and at the same time so that working with the form is more logical and clear. We expanded the record to include the possibility of tracking changes to an accident.
- In business travel, we streamlined the entry of proposals and reports when there are multiple participants, and adjusted the calculation of reimbursements and their rounding.
- We completely redesigned shift planning, both graphically and in terms of data handling efficiency. It is now possible, among other things, to enter shifts with start and end times (FROM – TO) directly in the table, to choose whether the display will be compact so that the entire month fits on one screen, or a display with more information, where the start and end time of each shift can be seen in the table.
- For work on modern large monitors with high resolution, application scaling now responds to the Scaling settings in the operating system. At the same time, we have retained the option to choose your own application zoom level.
And throughout the year, we of course monitored developments related to the preparation of JMHZ, tried within our possibilities to influence its form, and pointed out problematic areas. At the same time, we gradually added to the application the fields that are necessary for JMHZ and were previously not recorded or were recorded in a different form, so that you could prepare for the arrival of this major change.
What are we preparing for 2026?
- The main topic of 2026 certainly remains the Jednotné měsíční hlášení zaměstnavatele. Although the law has been effective since January 1, 2026, the first live submissions are planned for April. We are implementing our expertise and participation in the project into OKbase with the main goal – to ensure that JMHZ is a real benefit for you and not another administrative burden.
- In 2025, the company Scormium became a member of the OKsystem group. Through integration into the OKbase system, we will offer our customers the opportunity to elevate education to a completely new level.
In addition, we are preparing, for example:
- a new attendance terminal built on web technologies,
- a clearer register of international business travel,
- a completely new register of minor work expenses with integration to payroll and accounting.
The past year from the perspective of our customer support
In 2025, our customer support handled nearly 11,000 requests. More than 80% of them concerned information, consultations, and expert guidance – especially interpretation of legislative changes, recommended system configuration, or verification of the correctness of procedures. In 9 out of 10 cases, these were consultations and methodological support: interpretation of legislative changes, recommended OKbase configuration, and verification of procedures in practice. This shows that OKbase is a stable solution that offers not only reliable operation of the application itself, but also supports its users in the event of legislative and other changes.
And since report cards were issued, we also calculated our “grade” for this year, and based on all your evaluations it comes out to 1.3. And so we know that we can continue to improve (and we are preparing interesting new features for you this year) and at the same time we are pleased with such a positive evaluation.
