How did a local training center grow into a company with a turnover exceeding one billion crowns, top-tier products, and global ambitions?

Vladimír Fuchs, Chief Sales Officer at OKsystem, was a guest on the HR News podcast, where he spoke not only about the company’s growth, innovation, and family roots but also about what lies behind its successful business strategy and the key role education plays in it.

In 2024, OKsystem reached a major milestone – for the first time, it surpassed one billion CZK in annual turnover and is now among the largest Czech software houses. “We provide product-based solutions, develop custom software, and at the same time, we are one of the largest IT training centers in the country,” says Vladimír Fuchs. He also points out a lesser-known fact: despite having more than 500 employees, the company has managed to preserve its original family spirit and atmosphere.

The conversation also covered the recent acquisition of a majority stake in Sense4Code, through which OKsystem expands into digital education via its Scormium platform. “The Scormium learning platform, in which we’ve become the majority owner, allows us to digitalize and personalize learning paths and perfectly complements OKbase,” explains Fuchs.

You’ll also hear in the podcast:

  • What’s behind the development of the unique Checkbot application, how it’s used in industrial automation, and how it’s performing on global markets

  • The role OKsystem will play at the Expo 2025 World Exhibition in Osaka

  • What the new OKlab department focuses on and how it works with AI

Vladimír Fuchs also shares the company’s future plans: “We want to remain a company that delivers large, high-quality projects in the Czech Republic. We aim to be involved in complex information systems with high added value—and to do them exceptionally well. That’s our priority at home, and at the same time, we want to bring this expertise abroad. We are firmly convinced that OKsystem should remain a Czech company that succeeded locally and now wants to make its mark globally,” he concludes.
