This project focused on applying cutting-edge cryptographic technologies based on research and transformed them into practical authentication systems to prevent the misuse of online personal data. As a part of this project, a new generation of authentication services were designed, namely, anonymous (attribute) authentication. This resulted in a set of software developed for smart cards and server infrastructure that can be used in commerce to securely verify authorized clients without disclosing their identities.
One of many practical examples of our achievements, thanks to this project, was the development of a building entry system using RFID chips. This system ensured proper entry of authorized people into the building, garage, or common areas, without disclosing their specific identity.
